Faith on Earth
When the Lord comes will He find faith on this earth?The faith that believes in miraclesThe faith that isn't based on past experienceAnd says it never happened this way beforeWill he find faith when He comethThe faith that believes when he hears God say "speak to this mountain"He then speaks to the mountain and says "be thou removed"Will he find this faith?
Will he find the faith of AbrahamThe one who left behind his home town to walk with GodWho separated himself from Lot and chose the lesser landWho would lay his own son on the altar for GodA man who would hold nothing back to walk with HimThe man who entertained strangersThe man who interceded for the righteousWill he find this faith?
Will He find the faith of DavidA man after Gods own heart who would fulfill all His willA boy whom God anointed but did not assert his rightsA boy who could slay a giant with a stoneA young man hunted and chased but wasn't vindictiveA man who respected the Anointing of GodWho made preparations for a temple he had not seenWill He find faith on this earth?
Will he find the faith of RuthA woman who would leave behind her family and cleave to her mother in lawWho would leave behind her people, language and her godsA woman prepared to go to a country as an outsiderWho was humble enough to scavenge for foodWho considered an older man and took the advice of anotherA woman full of virtue, hope and loveWill He find this faith?
Will He find the faith that saysI will go where You lead me, take me where you willI will let the things You choose be my choiceLet me take your name and lose my identityI give You my life, my all, my everythingAs a bride prepared for her husbandRemoving the veil from between her and her LordKnowing Him as he is - seeing Him face to face
