Beware
Beware of the dogsThe roving packs that eat whatever food they findThat live on tasty gossip and scraps of disjointed informationThat roll over on fly blown carcasses,Scenting themselves with the scandals of fallen soulsVomiting out the carrion that revolted their stomachThen eating it again as though it was some new thingBeware of the dogs, don't give that which is holy to them.
Beware of the evil workersThose who with impunity smite their fellow servantsAnd are intoxicated with the liquor of their own importanceThose that covet the wealth of their poor fellow brethrenThieving and killing- just to heap it on their own consuming lustsThey lay snares, provoking, hoping to trip one upWatching every thing one says just to bring a railing accusationBeware of these evil workers, use your lamp watch your step
Beware of the concisionThose who will cut you down to sizeAnd for self vindication point out the faults in othersConsidering themselves holy, more righteous and pureFasting twice a week, giving tithes of all their possessions.Who give their consent willingly, itching to cast that first stoneWhile the un-condemning Christ sits writing, deaf to the accusationsBeware of the concision -the uncircumcised in heart and ear
Watch and be soberWork out your own salvation with fear and tremblingTake nothing for granted, Let him take it for himself.Search to see if these things are the truthBe persuaded and unwavering in your in convictionsLet your Yes mean Yes and your No means NoBe always ready to give and account of your reason for hopeWatch and be sober don't be tempted to let down your shield.

For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.Mat 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
